* Look for a full service studio with a solid reputation that has decades of experience and a Staff of photographers.
You should feel comfortable knowing that in case of an emergency, accident or illness which prevents your photographer or videographer from making your wedding, that a back up Staff will be ready to go. Some people refer to this as "memory insurance".

* Look for quality and value. Ask the studio if they have won awards and to see testimonials, and what do you get included in their packages. Do not settle for mediocre images, inferior quality, and inadequate coverage at a very expensive price. Remember, "Cheap is expensive"...

* Make sure the vendor you choose has a Tax ID and carries a Certificate of Liability. Wouldn´t be a shame to hire a Photographer to cover your wedding, and then realize that he or she does not have liability insurance, and then your reception venue tells you that they cannot work there!

* Make sure the studio you choose offers both photography AND video. Not only is it convenient for you to one-stop shop, but also think about the harmony and teamwork approach that will be implemented at your wedding instead of a competitive environment for the "shot".

* Lastly consider value. Most recent survey´s suggest that a couple should plan on investing 10% of their entire budget on Photo´s, and another 10% on their Video. As they say, the guests leave, the food is eaten, the Band went home, and all that´s left are your images. Invest wisely, as there is only one chance for success!
